    The Cannamom Retreat is a retreat for Moms who enjoy flower to gather together and support each other through all the joys and challenges of parenting at all stages of motherhood. Getting away from it all, being cooked and cleaned for, enjoying great company and great green, and above all feeling seen, heard and validated for your choice to parent assisted by the wisdom of our favorite mother plant.

    The Emerald Triangle Revealed Tour

    Long kept secret behind locked gates and the “Redwood Curtain,” the famed Emerald Triangle of Northern California produces the best craft sungrown flower in the world. Thousands of small, family-owned farms have been honing their craft for decades and generations.

    The exquisite natural beauty of the area, with old-growth redwoods, wild and scenic rivers, the lost coast, and rugged mountains would be reason enough to visit. Add in the best green in the world and a visit to the Emerald Triangle should be on any flower enthusiast’s bucket list.

    The Emerald Triangle Revealed Tour, August 22nd to 26th, 2024, is your invitation to experience the authentic culture of Humboldt, Mendocino and Trinity Counties. Visit four stunning and unique farms, Eat amazing local food at the height of freshness, Commune with the ancient redwoods, float the Trinity River with a local native american guide, and so much more.

    Getting to the farm

    The farm is off the beaten path, with Trinity County being the most remote of the three counties that make up the Emerald Triangle, so getting here can be an epic adventure all in itself. We like it that way, the seclusion is one of the special things about our location, and for obvious reasons, it served us well during prohibition.

    Lucky for you, there are now flights that bring you about 75 minutes from the farm to the Humboldt County Redwoods Regional Airport (ACV.) From there you can rent a car, or arrange airport transport to the farm.

    It’s also a fairly easy and scenic drive from Sacramento (about 5 hours) or the Bay Area (about 6 hours) and 4 hours from Medord, OR.

    Sol Spirit Farm is located on a paved county road, no 4 wheel drive necessary! There is plenty of parking at the farm.

The easy Trinity River access that’s just down the road, we had the entire river to ourselves all day! Still close to town if needed which is comforting, this is the most perfect off-grid place in all of NorCal.       AMAZING a true gem in the Emerald Triangle!!! Highly recommend this glamping experience. Judi is a wonderful host and will help you enjoy your time in Trinity County. They are very knowledgeable of the area and know a lot about the history and culture of the Emerald Triangle and will share stories and so much more! This is a wonderful place to go escape and find some peace with great company. We can’t say enough about how great the daily coffee, breakfast, and dinners were. The food was incredible and so delicious, healthy, and lovely desserts! Our bed was so comfortable, clean, and cute! You get a huge tent, very private, and you get your own shower and toilet which was a plus when camping! Judi and her crew will make you feel right at home, from great conversations to helping you schedule rafting or tubing adventures and so much more! The farm was beautiful and fun to tour. We got to see how much work goes into it which was quit an experience to see. We also loved that right down the road there was a beautiful swimming hole so you can cool off anytime. Definitely recommend staying here – you will not be disappointed! We can’t wait to come back – So grateful we stayed here!!

      This was such a lovely experience – from the cozy and cute tent set up, to the welcoming folks on the farm, s’mores in the evenings, and amazing swimming holes right nearby! We loved that you had your very own, clean, private bathrooms. I’d recommend this stay to anyone, and would definitely recommend going on the farm tour – we learned so much! Perfect location for a lot of river floating and exploring, it felt perfectly remote and we didn’t encounter ANYONE on most of our hikes (even on a holiday weekend!) Note that it’s a bit of a drive to any real store so make sure you bring a cooler and anything you might want with you!

The redwoods and the Trinity River took my breath away and I feel connected to nature and to flower in a way I never imagined.
